  All in all, the rooms are a little dated, but it has what you need if you are just travelling through and want a good price :)

  Free wifi did not work and was only given code when asked for which was only for 6pm to 9pm. No hot water in room, so no showers for oyr family in the executive room. When asked about dinner restaurant was told chef did not work weekends (we stayed on a saturday night) only a continental menu was given after asking which charged $4 for 2 pieces of bread, $4 for a single box (travel size eg. Coco pops tarvel box) of cereal with a small milk. Each item on continental was individually overpriced by a large margin. 2 towels were supplied for 4 people. Only kettle with far too small cord, tv which was drilled into benchtop and glued in bad position so could only be watched on couch or one side of queen bed only. Could in no way reposition it. Disgraceful customer service. No phone, microwave or bowls in room. Only one tiny shampoo/conditioner in one for 4 people. Only enought for two people at best. Overpriced severely for what is offered. Very far from 3 star and pathetic for Golden Chain accommodation. Very far from what is advertised. Do yourself a favor and book ELSEWHERE.

  The shower head could use some CLR or similar to dissolve the calcium build-up, and was a little uncomfortable with such a low flow-rate, but it was evident that this was done to try and conserve energy and resources, as there was also a sign asking us to leave the AC and lights off when we weren't in the room.

  I was just staying for the night on my way from Perth to Newcastle. The room wasn't anything fancy, but we selected it purely as it was the best price, which is all we needed. The bed was comfortable, and it had all the basics.

  It's in a convenient location, just down the road from shops and supplies if you are travelling.

  They try hard with what they've got. A little overpriced but when there's not a lot of options you take what you can get. Appears to be clean.
